Eldon Square

Metrocentre

Featuring over 270 stores, 60 places to eat and plenty of entertainment options, the undercover Metrocentre is one of Newcastle’s most popular shopping destinations and one of the UK’s largest. You’ll find a range of shops, restaurants and fun things to do.

One of just eight Fenwick stores across the UK, discover Newcastle’s favourite designer department store located in Eldon Square. There’s an excellent food hall and, if you’re visiting at Christmas, their impressive festive window displays rival those in London.

Quayside Sunday Market

Taking place every Sunday at Newcastle Quayside between 9am and 4pm, this historic market features a range of independent local traders and street performers. You’ll find everything from artwork and clothing to jewellery and handmade crafts, and there are plenty of excellent food stalls to keep you fuelled.
